This is the Official web site of 8.Kompanie Pz. Gren. 1 Rgt. 2 Btl. Our primary objective is to portray the ordinary soldaten of the Waffen-SS through meticulous research and attention to detail. Whether participating in tactical events or Living History displays, our goal is always the same, to create an authentic impression of the Waffen-SS soldat.
The members of this unit are located along the East Coast of the United States. We attend events in the same geographical area.
From the pre and early war years where victories were swift and plentiful to Gotterdammerung and hell on the Ost front, Hitler's bodyguard Division was on the forefront of the fighting. During those years, the LSSAH developed a reputation and Esprit de Corp unsurpassed in military history. Using history as our guide, we strive to emulate the pride and elan of this vaunted Waffen-SS Division.
In this unit, Kameradschaft is not only a word meaning brotherhood. It is the philosophy that binds us together. If you aspire to become a member of this unit you must be willing to work hard and be part of a team. If one member faulters, his brueder are there to support him. When one succeeds, we all celebrate his accomplishment.
