Are you a member of a small German WW2 reenacting unit that is tired of being "swallowed up" by larger units at events? Are you tired of getting tasked with holding a small obscure piece of land at tactical events and seeing little or no action?
Kampfgruppe Sonnenwende was created to band together "like minded" quality units into a large organized fighting force. The units comprising Sonnenwende reap the benefits of working with other quality units while maintaining their units autonomy. Individual units have their own rank structure, awards policy, and command structure. While the individual units were strong alone, KG Sonnenwende increases their strength by providing an experienced Command Staff and by sharing the various resources of the member units.
Kampfgruppe Sonnenwende was never intended to be a "Waffen-SS" Kampfgruppe. Like minded units of any German WW2 branch of service that stress authenticity, dedication to German tactics, Kameradschaft, and an ability to work as a team are invited to join.
